::Dont sign up as a Tradesman ,I signed up for 6 months thinking it was going to be exactly what the overseas caller had told me "a surplus of jobs" in your field (electrician) . Instead it was actually a lack of jobs ,I called up and complained but they didn't really do anything they just kept saying the jobs would pick up ,they it never did ... experience has left a sour taste in my mouth

::Save yourself the loss of time and money, no good tradies will work for these guys anymore, I talk to many tradies on site that say they are shonks, I got ripped just like many many other. There are other good companies who do lead service and the good tradies have gone over there, try Hipages, Service Seeking ect they are much better. If you do your research, the head of Service Central was a cleaner, not a tradie, and not a professional in anyway.

::I was a supplier on Service Central, they were very good at the beginning, i got lots of jobs and made money from the services, but as usual they soon became greedy and didn't realize what is really happening in the real world. All they saw is how to make money from my possible future jobs, to join them now costs $6000.00 a year and that's at the lower end of the scale

::****Warning Do Not Use this Service You Will Regret It.**** I used Service Central to have a trades person come over to repair a major Kitchen appliance. The trades person come over advised me that it need a new part and he will have it in a few days. A few days later the trades person came over and replaced the part. He would not show me the part he replaced, advising me that he through it in the back of his truck and he would have to move everything to access the part. I paid him and asked for a receipt for the call out and the part, he advised me he would email it to me. A few days late the appliance again failed with the same problem. I tried calling the trades person and sent him SMS without any response. I am still waiting for my Invoice and receipt. I lodge a complaint with service central without any response from them. A few days later I called Service central who advised me that it takes at least 48 hours to respond to a request for them. 2 week later I made another call to them and was advised that someone will return my call shortly. Another week has passed and I haven't heard from either the trades person or service central. I am out of pocket for a lot of money and I own a major appliance that still doesn't work my next step is to lodge a complaint with Consumer Affairs and Lodge and appeal with the Administrative Appeals Tribunal against both the trades man and Service Central.
