  Arguably the best specialty brew in the CBD (and conveniently open on weekends)! The space is pretty minimal but the vibe is relaxed and staff are friendly. There’s a small selection of pastries if you’re hungry, and sparkling water is available on tap.

  I’ve never had a bad coffee from midtown, every time I’m in Melbourne I go out of my way to duck in for my coffee fix! The vibe is great, the coffee is smooth and tasty no matter how you have it, they have water, both sparkling and still on tap for customers and the staff are pleasant enough. I like the fit out of the store, it’s very simple looking with a industrial type vibe and they seem to play good music every time I go in.

  Honestly, best place for a morning coffee before work. The coffee is consistently great, staff are friendly & chill, and the fit out is nice, simple and always clean.

  Nestled away from contentious lane way cafes fighting for brunch affections, Midtown is a barebones Cafe in the heart of Melbourne calling back to what made Melbourne cafe's great. It doesn't do much else but coffee, and it does it well. Come here to enjoy coffee on big benches, an hour after most cafes close, in a part of the city that isn't having an identity crisis.
