::Cardio, strength and weight sections are massive. Weight section has 2xsquat racks, 2x Smith machines 2 power racks (and heaps downstairs strength section), total approx 10 bench press benches! Biggest range of plate & pin loaded machines. Best FF for serious training in Sydney city area. Male change room is clean. Shame no sauna & steam but it's only minor. Hope they have longer opening hours including weekends.

::Possibly the rudest staff I’ve experienced at any Fitness First gym. Besides that the gym itself is great.

::Great stuff and equipment. It has lots of space, weight and machines for everyone to share. The real downer is the male shower area and toilets which is why I giving it 3 stars. The shower cubicles are covered with soap scrum that seem like haven't been regularly cleaned, the tile floor leading to and in the cubicle is typically slippery, soggy and dirty and noticeably worst they when I first joining in 6 months ago. As the largest and one of the flagship gym for Fitness First I believe more/better resources should have been allocated to ensure the showers are been frequently cleaned and monitored on a very regular bases. If noticeable improvement has been made in this area, I will have no issues giving it a 5 star.

::Anytime Fitness is cheaper. Great gym, however shut on the weekends. The other Fitness First gyms in Sydney surrounds is equivalent of a 24 hour gym...Small/Cramped...but closes earlier, so not really equivalent to the 24 hour gyms really. Bond St is great if you are a class fanatic, however I don't attend any of them and probably would like to see my membership dollars go towards opening hours rather than classes. I saw a person make the same critique about not being opened on weekends and he got blasted by someone because of the effort of getting weekend staff, but I am pretty sure that if we got to choose where to put our membership dollars then, I am sure the classes would be minimised and the hours would be longer.

::It's actually a fantastic gym, great variety of free weights and power-lifting racks / platforms, but it's too cheap to open on weekends and that isn't cool. So it gets 1 star. It's an easy fix Fitness First... perhaps stop letting the bean counters call all the shots, you know full well how many clients have the craps with this.
