  Generally pretty reliable, good coffee. The savoury French toast is a bit of a dud though, I'd avoid it. Little pebbles of hard avocado and not much of that....

  Nice little cafe. Service is good too! Decent prices as well. I would easily recommend it.

  Have been coming to Goldbergs for roughly 16 years. In that it has never disappointed me, and I have never had a bad server. Staff always really welcome and friendly, food consistently great. I always order a modified menu item, and they literally never get it wrong. Their main meals hold their own with any top restaurant. The steak is always spot on, and the pasta is just perfect. Nice quiet courtyard out the back, makes it easy to forget you're in town.

  Such a lovely find. Cosy, great atmosphere, very attentive staff and the food was to die for. Fresh and healthy. The pot of tea was also lovely. If I had room for dessert I would have ordered that too. As a traveller from Adelaide this was a great experience. Always hard with food intolerances to find good quality food that works with my diet and I could see from looking at the menu that others would benefit from this menu too. Keep up the good work. I will return next time I come back to Newcastle.

  Great place always full of customers. But after years of coming here I'm getting bored, it's either a big hit or okayish miss with the specials board. Find the good ones and create a new menu! Its been half a dozen years of soup, pasta and hoping for a good special.
