::GU Film house does a good enough job as a cinema to go to in the city, but it hardly feels amazing. For the longest time, I had no idea it even existed because the entrance is buried deep inside a mall behind Shisha bars and other stores. It has no dedicated parking but there is an offer from the next door "Secure Parking" where you get 5 hours for $5 with your movie ticket. I spent a solid half an hour just looking for the entrance, constantly circling around the place. I went to three other parking spots until I found the entrance for it. The rest of it is pretty cut and dry, standard variety of snacks you'd expect at any Event Cinemas, although as always, a bit too pricey. Bathrooms were nice and clean and seats were comfortable. Would I recommend this place over Palace Nova? Probably not. Sure GU Film house is part of Event Cinemas but Palace Nova is just cheaper and is in a better spot.

::One of my fav House for Movies. Theatrical sound is nice, could improve though, space is okay. Can be improved.

::Good cinemas. Actually an event cinema, so cinebuzz and other standard event things work here. Same price, but better seating and often less crowded than other cinemas.

::Fantastic venue. Excellent cinemas with very good seats. Helpful crew with wide variety of food and drink including alcohol. Has attached carpark with $5 parking offer.
