  GU Film house does a good enough job as a cinema to go to in the city, but it hardly feels amazing. For the longest time, I had no idea it even existed because the entrance is buried deep inside a mall behind Shisha bars and other stores. It has no dedicated parking but there is an offer from the next door "Secure Parking" where you get 5 hours for $5 with your movie ticket. I spent a solid half an hour just looking for the entrance, constantly circling around the place. I went to three other parking spots until I found the entrance for it. The rest of it is pretty cut and dry, standard variety of snacks you'd expect at any Event Cinemas, although as always, a bit too pricey. Bathrooms were nice and clean and seats were comfortable. Would I recommend this place over Palace Nova? Probably not. Sure GU Film house is part of Event Cinemas but Palace Nova is just cheaper and is in a better spot.

  One of my fav House for Movies. Theatrical sound is nice, could improve though, space is okay. Can be improved.

  Good cinemas. Actually an event cinema, so cinebuzz and other standard event things work here. Same price, but better seating and often less crowded than other cinemas.

  Fantastic venue. Excellent cinemas with very good seats. Helpful crew with wide variety of food and drink including alcohol. Has attached carpark with $5 parking offer.

  Very nice cinema. Friendly and courteous staff. I enjoyed my visit.
