::Possibly the best hostel. It's overly luxurious, clean and affordable for backpackers. 10 min walk from St Kilda beach. Easily accessible by trams as well. Love this place!

::Habitat HQ provides an economical, clean, friendly place to stay in Melbourne. At about one third of the price of a hotel and with the tram right out the front, there's lots of reasons to like the place. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was, even on a Saturday night. The queen size bed was comfy and the ensuite plenty big enough for the two of us.

::One of the best hostels so far! I stayed in habitat for 7 weeks. I slept in different rooms and the beds were always comfortable. All positive: - clean - big kitchen - good vibe - free wifi - near to public transport - close to the supermarket, city and beach. I definitely recommend this place!
