::After a rather dull and well below average experience with Hertz at the Darwin Airport, my parents and I dropped in to the Hertz office at Mitchell Centre. We were greeted by the lovely trainee and her manager Evannia. We explained our situation (dirty, smelly, non-cleaned car with a dodgy glovebox, and a clerk who was rude and seemed to want us gone ASAP), and the staff went out of their way to organise a replacement vehicle. The service received at the Mitchell Centre office was outstanding, and the staff should be praised for their exemplary customer service. These staff members are a credit to Hertz.

::I would like to shout out a big "Thank You" to Luke at Hertz Mitchel Street office on 15.09.16. He was extremely helpful and could not do enough to assist us after we had a bad experience whilst trying to hire a rental vehicle from Thrifty that we walked away from. Luke saved the day for us and happened to be on late at Darwin Airport on 25.09.16 when we dropped the car off. Thanks Pal you turned our day around and you helped make our visit to Darwin extremely enjoyable. Big wraps to Hertz you have a very happy new customer thanks to Luke. Please pass this on.

::Quite unpleasant personnel not even trying to be polite. I got charged AUD100 more than what was agreed on through confusing fees and taxes. When I asked at the agency why the amount of the payment authorisation was not the amount expected, they told me it was because the authorisation included an AUD100 deposit. They lied, on purpose, to confuse me and Hertz customer service was helpless, refusing to recognise I was given false information.
