  Convient if you would like to be located in the city, however this comes at a price. There are no facilities in the room, no bath fridge, no kettle etc. Being located where it is my room was opposite a laneway near a restaurant. Could not leave a window open due to the high noise levels of nearby commercial refrigerant plants and people emptying out rubbish. While the room was clean and tidy, it could have done with a make over. Chipped floor tiles, old bathroom that needed renovation etc. Also the room's airconditioner had not been cleaned in a while was in need of a good clean.

  Good basically for the location and the prices. Rooms and service is enough for short periods

  This is certainly not the most beautiful hotel in the world. However, if you are coming to town to enjoy the city or go out diving this is a low-cost place to do it. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was included and wifi was free. Most importantly, the location is ideal for anything in the area. You are a couple minute walk to the ocean and there are stores and restaurants in every direction.

  Great location, near everything. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Staff were friendly and had a good sense of knowledge on the area. Breakfast met and exceeded expectations. The hotel is situated just up from a night club, so it did get a bit noisy while we were trying to sleep, that been said if I didn't have children with me I would have gone out, sounded fun 😀

  The hotel location was great and the staff were generally quite nice. However the place could do with a makeover or at least a better clean. Our bathroom had no ventilation and always turned into a sweaty sauna after a shower. It had been clear that this was an ongoing thing, as the bath roof was beginning to rot and crack in multiple areas. As I went to use the towels, the were complimented with ants. And upon going to bed, I encountered roaches on the floor. The staff were notified and did what they could to get rid of the bugs (a clean and some bug spray), but the critters ultimately came back the next day. If (and only if) the bathroom and bug issues were fixed, I'd consider going back due to the great location in the heart of Cairns city.
