::The rooms were nice and simple, nothing too fancy. Staff were nice and helpful but when we had our rooms cleaned whilst we were out they took my pillow case off due to being dirty, chucked it on the floor and didn't replace the cover with a new one. Most hotels I've been too you don't see cleaners through the hallways but you could see almost everything they did which didn't seem very professional. Location was perfect though.

::Just visited Melbourne for a couple of days, had very pleasant stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was nice. The only draw back for me, the shower was in the bath tub, whilst taking a shower my hip kept bumping the Fawcett, almost burning myself. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's right in the heart of the city, very close to eateries, theatres, shops. I would definitely stay, again.

::Hotel had broken elevator for some length of stay. There was also construction going on outside that started at 7 in the morning. I did not see a ramp for handicapped people to enter the building. Workout room was small with low ceiling. I ended up using First Fitness nearby. My room itself was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant was surprisingly good. Breakfast at the hotel had a good selection

::Great hotel! We were offered an discounted upgrade when we arrived, as we weren’t quite sure if we wanted it the clerk showed us the different rooms and we quickly agreed on the upgrade. Our new room was perfect with a great view. Additionally there were no problems during our entire stay, and everything from the pool to the breakfast was great
