  A charming and luxurious hotel that exudes Art Deco features illuminating the period that made it famous! Staff were most friendly and accommodating and nothing was ever to much trouble. I highly recommend this fine hotel.

  Really nice hotel with Tesla chargers. Few issues, there was music playing below my room that appeared to be from a staff area most of the night that kept me awake and required me to move rooms and the qantas points I was told about during checkin never showed up. After questioning weeks later they told me the points only apply with a minimum spend which was not mentioned anywhere.

  Went to celebrate my birthday at Chifley's. We weren't told when booking there was a wedding on that night and the restaurant was closed. After getting dressed up to celebrate a special occasion, we were put in a fluorescent lit room along with half a dozen other tables. Meanwhile we were forced to listen to the noise from the wedding next door. Not an ideal way to spend my birthday - The night was spolit by the move in venue and the noise. However, the food was excellent and the service wonderful - the only way it earns 3 stars.

  Very good work on the renewal, the hotel is very good looking. Not quite gorgeous but almost there. Staff could slightly improve their smile and friendliness but are very professional and helpful. Will definitely go back, would place this hotel as 3rd best in Canberra.
