::We enjoyed our visit. Very educational well laid out. Well worth a visit. However the Bakehouse food is great except they put a percentage charge on Credit Card use.

::I think this is an important part of Australian history. The building, the rooms, the stories of those who stayed here - they all come together nicely. That chilling feeling when you hear the ghostly voice recordings... It was not crowded when we visited here, and I think it enhanced the experience. If you are visiting this town, this is a must see.

::The tour guide was extremely well informed about convicts and Australian history. He made the tour very interesting. I definitely learnt a lot and enjoyed my time here. There are lots of stairs and so it might be tough for some people (people with peaks or disabilities and the such) to visit this place. However, it is recommended.

::Very informative on the use of the barracks over the years, the conditions of those travelling to and carrying out jail sentences. A history from the first settlers to modern day, in relation to the barracks. By far my favourite piece is the model figures of how the building has been adapted and changed to fit its needs.

::A really interesting museum that caters across ages. You could spend a good half day there and learn so much. Ticket entry was really reasonable. What a fascinating place! Definitely worth a visit.
