::Go early because it's usually full, but if you have to wait, it won't be long, they are fast. Great atmosphere, food and service. The pasta big plate is huge! It's quite cheap for the quality and the amount you get. Totally recommended.

::Really nice food, the meals were not expensive. In general the place was really good. Only problem I had was that the food went kind of cold quick.

::I haven't been here for a while, but I know it hasn't changed (and probably never will). And trust me, that's a really good thing. The promise "Good Home-style Italian Cooking" and they have lived up to that as far back as I can remember. It's identical to the thousands of little restaurants all over Italy, packed every night with Italian families spending quality time together over a great meal "just like Nonna used to make". If you went to Rome and 'slipped a mickey' into a couple of local's drinks, and flew them here before they woke, then took them into il Ciao blindfolded, the only way they might suspect they were on the other side of the earth would be if they noticed there were possibly a few more 'Aussie tourists' than normal.
