  Most poorly situated location for a train station known to public transport users. Actually maybe the second worst, after Wondabyne. Very annoying stop for other train passengers who can't understand why trains stop at Kotara when generally no one uses this station. Situated an impractically long and boring walk from the major shopping and commercial area of Kotara this station is almost useless to anyone other than local residents. Station is isolated from nearby streets in a dark area of parkland. Safety is not necessarily guaranteed and no one will hear you scream if such is required. No access for wheelchair users and no footpaths on approach. Rare sightings of passengers actually using this station occur occasionally, but not more than once every two hours on weekends and public holidays due to ridiculously poor frequency of trains that actually do stop here.

  Fairly bare bones station. About 15-20mins walk to Kotara shopping centre. No lift.

  Convenient place to get off and go to shopping center.
