  I have now purchased a number of times from Leederville Cameras and their stock range and customer service is second to none. I live in Sydney and every order I've made has been shipped same day, delivered the next. The sales reps are always helpful and friendly on the phone! Highly recommended!

  Great service ! After purchasing a telescope from them the young man carried it to my car because I had my daughter in her pram.

  Overpriced, you're better off ordering online, but the one star is for the staff. They don't know what they're selling that is if you can get their attention, most of them are glued to a phone. You really lose sympathy for the floundering retail sector when you experience service as bad as this. a) my review mentioned nothing about mobile phones, there's a long wait time. b) Are you really that competitive? Look at your lens adapters - cheaper to buy from B&H (postage included). c) I know the owners of most camera retailers in Perth, Camera Electronic, PRA etc. I have to buy locally on the odd occassion, if I need to source something quickly, generally there isn't wide variety of equipment for video production that you can source locally. There's a lot of time standing around in your shop before your staff can field a query, but often I'll ring ahead. I get into the store and it can be a long wait. d) I buy a lot of equipment in asia - better range, less of a mark-up and language barriers aren't a problem. I've made point, maybe your staff had to field too many phone queries - on that day? However there's a steep roll-off as to how knowledgeable they are about the range of equipment they sell. I read the other reviews before posting this one and a few other reviewers have pointed out the customer service is a little lack-lustre.

  With out a doubt, my favourite place for quality, service & price. I like to shop around first, not just get what's convenient. I have found that LCH has more often than not, been cheaper than what I've found online. Especially for cameras & lenses.

  Absolutely outstanding online service. I ordered a lens (in Brisbane) at about 3PM on a Thursday and they shipped it (from Perth) on the same day and I received it at 10AM the next day! Simply unbelievable! And they also called me to confirm my postal address and to let me know that the lens is in stock and will be shipped immediately. I couldn't be more happy, not to mention that the price on this lens was about $50 cheaper than most other places and the shipping was FREE! I'll only be buying my photography gear from these guys from now on.
