::I recently purchased a used car from them. The service I got was like none I had ever experienced. They were all fantastic to deal with and the after purchase care goes above and beyond. You get the feeling that they actually care about their customers, a rare thing indeed! You will not be disappointed.

::This review has been edited with Lexus' response. See last paragraph. ==== Was looking for a second-hand car from Lexus and my only condition was that the car have no prior accident damage, or at least be discernible. I called Newcastle and asked them specifically if the car I was planning to look at had any accidents history or any visible repairs. I was driving from Sydney and this was paramount that they could answer no to this prior to me driving. Salesperson gave me every assurance that the car had no accidents, and no repairs visible. On this response which I took to be truthful, I drove the 2 hours to Newcastle. After just a minute looking at the car it was clear the front bumper had been damaged and repaired, and the bonnet had been removed and repainted. Excess clear-coat had dripped to the front of the bonnet and was plain to see. Bonnet bolts had been removed from factory. Front bumper had cracked paint. Engine bay weather seals were loose not in original position I brought this to the attention of the salesperson who still was adamant the car had no accidents prior, and then showed me the "Form 5" which stated the car had not been "written off of wrecked", which he believed to mean that the car never had any accidents at all. Either he completely misunderstands what these words mean, or he is too unscrupulous to accept there had been an accident in the past. He was then immature enough to throw in "enjoy the drive home" as I left. Great example of Lexus customer service. ======= Have since spoken to the assistant sales manager regarding this incident and he has acknowledged shortcomings with my experience and receptive to my feedback. I am happy with his response to my concerns and would be open to visiting them in future.
