  Today I went to the bakery and I asked for the spongecake at the front of the window. The lady refused to give me that cake I had requested for freshness and was totally rude. 0/5 stars for customer service!

  great pies with excellent selection. very good weekday hours but weekend times let them down. staff are always friendly.

  Used to be one of the best pies places in the country. However they have slipped over the past few years. My wife just went down there to grab some bread and came back with a cheese, beef and bacon pie for me...It was legitimately cold inside. Other than that pies are usually pretty good, although not the award winning standard that they used to be.
