  Very slow service. Typical for Newcastle. Owned and run by asians. Don't bother coming in at the end of the day. The manager/owner will be sitting on his phone whilst customers are waiting for the 1 slow server to get all the orders out. Unfortunately the food and coffee is quite good, so many people put up with the pathetic service.

  Have been getting coffe from here for 2 years only had 1 time where i didnt enjoy the coffe an the staff are very friendly

  Decent coffee, the chicken burger was a little sub par however. Bread falls apart in your hands and tastes dry. I'd go here for coffee but you should definitely give the food a miss.

  Average wait of 25-30 minutes. Only one chef on during lunch, but 5 counter staff, one of whom was standing around talking to his friend. While waiting, two other customers complained about waiting for the same amount of time. A friend of mine actually waited 45 and didn't get her food, she had to go to class and instead of offering a refund she got a 'credit' to use next time. I feel bad for the counter staff because it's not their fault the place is being mismanaged. Most Uni staff avoid the place because waiting for food there chews up their whole lunch break.

  Coffee: 5/5 Service: 4/5 (pretty good even when busy) Vego options: 1/5 (there's a burger and one or two pastas, both are not great and definitely overpriced) Vegan options: 0/5 Overall, pretty good. Best atmosphere on campus for any cafe. Overpriced however not with coffee. They don't cater for people with a conscience.
