::My check in turned into nightmare. I was asked to write my credit card details on paper, credit card number, cvv and expiry date. I informed staff that I won't leave it on paper and this is not compliant to be collecting customers credit card numbers. I don't mind giving my credit card to freeze the funds for the deposit (like it happens in other hotels) but this one did not have the facility. After I refused, John from staff told me that then I'm not going to stay. When I explained the reasons why I won't share the credit card number on paper he showed me the list of credit card numbers of the customers and said that everyone needs to do this. For a fact, this is illegal - when I informed him, he told me 'I don't know what country you're coming from' - this was absolutely awful. After 20 minutes, finally he gave me the keys but he was mean, rude and humiliating me in front of others. He was also making arrogant comments about me saying 'how are you going to pay for your meal in the restaurant' or 'are you going to demolish the room'. It was a horrible experience - I travel to Sydney for business 5 times a year and this was the worst stay. Hotel is nice and cosy, but this mean old man made it really bad. He shouldn't be working in any hospitality business!

::Thank you so much to Eddy and the staff at Manor House for letting my bridal party, family and me stay in your beautiful hotel over the weekend for my wedding in September. The Manor House is absolutely stunning and our photographer captured some gorgeous shots of us getting ready on your lovely balconies, rooms and hallways. We really appreciate how welcoming and accommodating the staff was, including letting us use your refrigerators and spend the Friday night out in the atrium making bouquets for the wedding.

::Lovely hotel. Has a warm and welcoming feel. Great continental breakfast included, with a good selection to choose from. Just a few small items missing in our room, clock radio, bathroom mat.
