  lookouts great the giant rats not so much but if your in to nature you will see wildlife

  A great place to take in the views of Tamworth and surroundings with several viewing platforms. We had a picnic, and used the free barbecues as we were tourists to the area and really appreciated the well maintained facilities. Be aware that the road has a gate which is locked between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. each day. There is wheelchair parking, a toilet block and access to plenty of picnic tables some covered, some under shady Jacaranda trees and lots of parking some also under shady trees.

  Recently resurfaced, this is an excellent steady climb up, and fun on the way down. Highly recommended on bike or on foot.

  Great views over Tamworth. Well worth a visit. There are opening and closing times though.

  Superb views. Plenty of parking. Covered picnic areas and tables. Toilets are adequate.
