::I appreciate that there several shops in Adl offering filter coffee and it seems that they are all quite devoted to handcrafted coffee. Was really impressed by the filter coffee and the filter beans are good. The only disappointing thing is the service of a female staff...she was a bit unwelcoming but anyway we helped ourselves

::I've bought plenty of coffee and other supplies from Patio (formerly Coffee Craft) over the years and introduced dozens of friends and co-workers to them. Every couple of weeks I make an hour long round trip to buy coffee from Patio for myself and others and, while the service has always been a little variable, it has been worth it for the consistent coffee quality. Today however was a disappointing and frustrating experience. While running my Saturday morning errands, I stopped in to get a couple of kilos of beans. After 10 minutes standing at the counter, waiting to pay for my beans and be on my way (in sight of 2 members of the team), I finally ran out of patience when one of these team members approached the counter to complete another sale (that, to his credit, it seemed he was going to assist the customer to load into her car) and then walked away. If I could make a suggestion to the Patio team on the customer service front, it would be to keep an eye out for someone who is ready to pay and go and quickly complete their purchase when the opportunity arises. The 10-15 second delay in loading the order of a customer whose order has already taken 10+ minutes is barely noticeable whereas a 10+ minute wait for a customer wishing to complete a 10 second transaction has a much greater relative impact.

::I dropped in for a coffee after hearing about their winning an award for "Australia's best coffee". The people running the shop were very friendly and humble about their win, and were keen to focus on their products rather than talk about themselves. I had a single origin Brazilian latte, and was very impressed with the quality and the price - $5 for a large. The coffee itself was well balanced across the whole palate, with enough bitterness without it dominating. The cafe was simple and uncluttered and was the sort of establishment that if be happy to frequent if I lived closer.
