  I spoke to PKF Wealth, Newcastle, 8 months ago and was led to believe that I could expect 7% returns on my pension fund. I invested and I was told it was a good time as the market was down. I elected to take the minimum pension so that my capital would grow. My capital dropped $20k in the first month and another $11k in the 2nd month. It has never recovered to my original investment. At the end of January, I had total returns (after costs) of $10k and I had fees of $13k. If I had left my money in my old Super Fund, using the same portfolio, in a pension fund (income stream), I would have been $58k better off. All that was before the correction this month.
