  Here's a really terrific Indigenous art gallery in Brisbane. It includes lots of the typical (mass produced) bags, scarfs, coasters, placemats etc.- at reasonable prices. But, the real treasure is Peter's extensive inventory of original, authentic one of a kind paintings , didgeridoos and more. There might be several hundred paintings here- in a huge array of sizes, with a mix of loose canvases, stretched canvases, and framed pieces. My wife and I spent an hour marveling at the works–and reviewed more than a hundred pieces before deciding on a large painting of a women's ceremony by Barbara Martin. Peter is friendly, very experienced, deeply knowledgable and very low key- there was no sales pitch or pressure at all.
