::A BUSY STATION IN THE METRO NETWORK Richmond is a busy station that is the branching points for a number of lines .. so has quite a few platforms. It's an old station but is quite functional and clean. There are staff on site and because its so busy there are always people around making it feel safe. The station is actually above Punt Road on the corner of Swan Street so you ascend a ramp to get to the platforms . It's just one stop from Flinders Street Station and the city loop, so it's a very convenient way to get to the Swan Street area.

::If you get here at night it is really tricky to get out of it... Most of the exits are not exits but connection only tunnels. I had to run like crazy up and down the platforms to make it to the bus on time. No good... Bad access.

::Has toilets which are... not giving the highest impression of hygiene however they are always open. The kiosk is awesome, potato chips and snakes which you can buy by the single! It's busy, lots of platforms for connections. Beware many of the entry/exits are closed most of the time, if you are a traveller and want to find somewhere that's always accessible, enter from Swan st.

::In urgent need of an upgrade. The crush after big events is getting out of hand. The middle subway is very dark and not a very nice place to be. There have been a couple of major improvements to make the crush better.
