    Nice hotel with friendly staff. Close to Lygon street and all its restaurants. Breakfast chef is a 5 star and ask for his amazing smoked salmon and goat cheese omelet. That omelets are made with pure love.

    Room a bit dated but nice and clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet if you get it included. Reasonable free WiFi. Good location.

    Nice clean rooms with high quality fittings. Excellent pool area and awesome breakfast! Great service from all the staff!

    I enjoyed my stay at Rydges on Swanston. The rooms are not the most glamorous nor the largest but they were quite comfortable. The room service was also pretty good. Bring your toothbrush as none were provided during my stay. The hotel is really convenient and in close proximity to a tram station.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. We had to evacuation, fire alarms at midnight, small fire on the floor above. Staff worked hard to get us all out. Fire brigade, had it under control quickly. And we were back in our room, in about 30min. Well done.
