  The event was well catered, But it would be nice to have some gluten-free items on the menu. The desert was also good. There could have been more food as there was never any times that the food did a full lap if the room before it ran out on the tray. Everything else was good!

  My clients were a wedding party of 10 with their own food platters. Probably going to a private room. I expected a concierge should have been st the outside front desk to meet and greet. Clients were left waiting outside under cover to be admitted. Thus not five stars. It is a modern clean impressive building with adequate driveway space for arrival of guests in cars and Limousines.

  Great Hotel. Great views.Excellent facilities definitely worth a bit more than 4 stars but 5 has to be reserved for the very very best. Staff were excellent, smiling and willing . I knew about the valet parking but there are few city hotels that have that luxury. Proximity to Southbank and the Botanical gardens was a real bonus to go for a 3 or 4 km walk along the river and over the Goodwill bridge and through the Gardens and back to the hotel

  Beautiful rooms and close proximity to the Brisbane Convention Centre made my work trip an enjoyable experience. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was very simple. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of sweet and savoury options. It was quite windy on the night I visited the Soleil Pool Bar (mostly covered open air) but the atmosphere was relaxed and casual.
