  This café has a beautiful Scandinavian-inspired interior and I appreciate the leanness of the entire design. The food is very good and I can recommend the vegan bowl. So tummy!! The staff in my experience was always friendly, but even when I visited this place for the second time there was a certain lethargy in the air. Not a bad think per se though ☺️

  Very nice coffee and an interesting fusion menu, also with ready prepared wraps, sandwiches, delicious croissants and pastries. The staff are lovely, the decor is fresh and light. They did have a staff problem a while ago, but we've never had a bad coffee before or since.

  A new little place that is going to have to work hard for business as there's literally cafes surrounding it. The aesthetics and great and the staff are kind (though quiet). Unfortunately the coffee isn't quite up to standard, at least for the area, and tasted quite watery. Hopefully this is just some teething issues for the new cafe. If you're looking for a good coffee I recommend Julia's opposite (if the male barista is working) or the extremely friendly staff from Bean Brewers next door.

  Place is clean and looks nice but there's always the essence that me being there is a bother. Coffee is okay.

  Great little cafe in Chippendale. Good alternative to other cafes in the area. Japanese inspired cuisine (soba noodle salad, teriyaki meatball sandwich etc.) as well as classics (bacon and egg roll, French toast, risotto, sautéed mushrooms). Seating is very limited, and not very suitable for tall people (low tables and seats). Hot chocolat very good. It is served with marshmallows, inside the cup. Make sure to ask for no marshmallows if that’s not your thing :) Had the French toast. Very tasty and filling.
