Excellent service!! A great one stop shop for everything we need for an upcoming winter visit to Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Owner of shop very abrupt and angry person. Doesn't know how to deal with general public. This shop is in the old chalk hotel

I went in looking for affordable snow pants. My short legs render all adult pants unwearable and I was immediately given the options for kid sized pants. I was so pleased that the pants that fit me had discounts on it and I came out of the shop with a snow pants and a neck warmer for less than $90. I love it that they didn’t try to upsell me things and add on to the shopping basket. I love this place!

This store is absolutely fantastic, and the owner is extremely helpful. It's especially good to come here if you are new to snowboarding/skiing as the owner is helpful and approachable whereas others can be a bit condescending. Any of the bad reviews of this store are certain to be a mistake with another ski store on the same street. That store is very commercial with smug sales assistants who are keen to upsell to customers who may not be so well-informed on what necessary equipment. I found the owner here to be very kind and told me exactly what I needed to buy without at all being pushy. I would definitely recommend this store, especially if you would like excellent customer service as well as supporting local business.

I went in looking for wax and P-Tex to tune a pair of skis myself. The owner was exceptionally helpful. He had run out of wax as it was the end of the season so instead offered me some granular commercial wax from their workshop for free. He could have said "sorry you need to let us do it" but recognised I knew what I was doing and served me accordingly. Make sure you go to Ski Scene. The other store up the road (Snow Scene) didn't even know what P-Tex was and never stocks wax.
