::Cute cafe with inviting (but tiny) courtyard and booths, lovely staff and great prices. We only had coffee (perfect), hot chocolate and a scone, but next time will try it for more. It felt like somewhere you could go alone and linger for quite a while over a pot of tea. Worth trying out when in that part of Brunswick Street.

::A little secret gem in Fitzroy! Slowpoke never disappoints. Coffee is seriously good. Food is organic (big tick!), wholesome, delicious and prepared with respect. A small but well thought-out menu with exciting seasonal specials. If you care about where your food comes from, then this place is heaven. Service is always top-notch. Being a small space, I am always astonished at how efficiently the Slowpoke team works at peak times! Staff are always friendly and attentive. I'm a regular here and will continue to be!

::BEWARE allergies as staff are not too attentive - note my friend's "onion & garlic free" dish. Service was friendly and what I'd call casual. The recommendation to add bacon was great as I adore crispy bacon and this was perfectly done.

::A perfect cafe. So beautiful and charming, with a great interior, awesome and welcoming staff, local feeling, delicious (really!) little cakes and terrific coffee. One of the best cafes ever.

::這裡的香蕉蛋糕是最棒的 🍌💓 去的時候是2014年2月，一直到2018年2月都想再吃一次這裡的早餐；當時房東拿著地圖說墨爾本很棒，但 Fitzroy 是最棒的，他推薦 slowpoke espresso 給我們，說這一區的人都從這裡醒來
