  We bought all smeg appliances for our newly extended home. Wall oven, 900mm stand alone cooktop and oven, convection microwave oven, dishwasher at a total value of over $15,000. All of these products within 5 years do not work. There service team do not give a rats that this has happened. We also bought a commercial dishwasher and within 2 years we have had to repair it at least 6 times. That’s $20,000 dollars worth of products that have all failed within 5 years. In contacting the company they have not offered any help or advice on repairers or explanation. I would never recommend anyone buy smeg appliances.

  I had all Smeg appliances installed into our new home including a built in steam oven almost 3 years ago.( SA45VX2vr.01) Since then I have had Alantin Appliances attend to service this steam oven although I have never been able to use it use it as the digital readings are not working so I cannot see what the settings are. Alantin Appliance have advised that the digital programing needs to be replaced and it will cost me $1400.00. Given that the oven has never been used I am not 'feeling the love' for Smeg and regret ever buying the oven. I have tried many times to get something done and don't feel after paying over $2500.00 for the oven and never having used it that I should be asked to pay for a faulty digital malfunction that has never worked. I am tired of looking at the oven and have given up trying to get it fixed hence this review. I would not only not recommend 'Smeg' to anyone, the service/serviceman available here in Victoria also leave a lot to be desired.

  Sonia in the showroom was very bubbly and a great help in making my appliance selection . It was a very good experience as I do not enjoy shopping

  This is the second time I've had to get my dishwasher reset. First time was less than 6 months after purchase. Best not buy another Smeg DWA315X.

  I attended a post purchase training demonstration after 8 months of living with my smeg built in under bench oven. The trainer was fantastic and the experience of learning about specific features was terrific. Training notes and demonstration food provided at no cost! I'd advise anyone who purchases a smeg oven to attend but you need to guide yourself initially. In this way, you'll know what things don't make complete sense to you and you can target your questions. A wonderful set of appliances and I'm very excited about using it's features in a more focused way. Well done to all involved! Love my Smeg!!!!!!
