  Brilliant high tea, many thanks to chef catering to dietary requirements. Edwardo topped off the day with great service. All staff, including reception, were professional and friendly.

  Review of the high tea - not the accommodation. 4 of us went for high tea to Spicers and we’re served one plate (not a three tier set up as is usual with high tea) with literally 2 of everything leading us to have to halve everything. Which meant we had a half a ribbon sandwich each and half of everything else. That combined with the drastically slow service made it a very poor experience. The only saving grace was how nice the wait staff were. Very hospitable but I wouldn’t be back for a high tea any time soon.

  Lovely porch area for a late breakfast. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly. I recommend the eggs Benedict but the full breakfast and hash are excellent as well. Street parking was fine on a weekday.

  Fantastic boutique hotel. From a short walking distance to the CBD and in a very quiet street in New Farm. Very good restaurant on the balcony and in a very nice garden. At night, the place is just cosy and elegant. If you can, don’t miss the little rooftop bar: a very charming place with a great view from New Farm to Brisbane city and the Story bridge. A perfect place to stay or just enjoy a nice meal. Very romantic.
