::Whilst the standards of medical support and processes are generally of high quality, after a three day visit I felt that the standard of hospitality fell below expectations. Missed meals were bad enough but no towels, particularly after having procedures (and the next morning) was poor. Definitely in dire need of some ‘mystery shoppers’ to hone their quality systems. Staffing appears stretched with massive support coming through student nurses on placement. I even self-medicated at one point when my medicines hadn’t arrived prior to 11pm and I needed to sleep (though finally got a visit 20 minutes later). Patients shouldn’t be forced to call for a nurse especially when these sort of basics are being missed due to slackness or poor processes and procedures. It shouldn’t be too much to expect good hospitality as a key function in a hospital. Sadly heading back in a couple of weeks for another visit and if it wasn’t so close I would have rescheduled this at another hospital.

::**Update 02/02/2018** Just had our second child at St Vincent’s Private, once again all the staff have been brilliant. Thanks! We had our first child here, very impressed! Intelligent, caring and supportive staff who go the extra mile. Good clean facilities. Double bed was a bonus for breastfeeding/bonding sessions with bub. Better than expected food, I even received red wine with dinner. Fast wifi, handy for uploading photos of your newborn or watching Netflix while they sleep. I would definitely recommend going Private over public if you're planning for a baby.

::This is a very nice hospital all the staff there are very nice and friendly. The hospital is very clean and modern. There's also a very nice clean cafe on the ground floor with really nice food there. My wife loved it there! Definitely coming back to this Hospital! 💙
