  Amazing service by the front desk and food staff, outstanding pools, including waterfall, fish feeding, artificial sandy beach and places to eat under cover. Birds and Iguanas all around the hotel make it fun for the little ones, as does the play centre. Been there 5 times, always have a great time.

  This is our third time at the Marriott and we would never stay anywhere else. We have stayed at other hotels on the gold coast and the Marriott is by far the best. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and clean and the staff are always friendly. We had an ocean view room which was definitely worth the extra spend. The buffet breakfast is amazing and the pool is the reason we keep coming back, absolutely fantastic with poolside service of a great range of cocktails and lunch. It's an easy 10-15 minute stroll into the main entertainment area of surfers paradise and removed enough that it's a bit quieter which we love. The mini bar and room service are quite reasonable for a hotel of this size too and it pays to book direct with Marriott as we got a great deal with food and beveridge credit included. You won't regret staying here!

  Excellent place to stay and a true resort. Cannot fault this place. I’ve been coming here on and off for over 20 years and apart from a few disruptions during renovations I’ve never been disappointed. Staff are top class, food is always great (casual food options could do with a tweek) and the facilities second to none.

  We were there as part of the Marriott Vacation Club. Stay twice during this vacation. The rooms were excellent and clean. No complaints what so ever. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool and the hotel salt water lagoon was fantastic. The lobby “bar” could use some work....maybe the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in!

  Very poor acoustics, echoing dining hall. We could not hear each other's conversations at our table over the noise. Presentation of the room and Buffet's was very nice. The seafood for the 80 odd dollar buffet was good but not fantastic. All fresh, but undersized and lacking taste. Oysters with a warm prep like the wasabi ones were fantastic.... At some stage... When they'd just been cooked maybe...I didn't get one. While I don't think it was all that bad at all...I have had better for half that price, in a country town hundreds of kilometers inland.
