::Really good library, awesome staff, pretty decent wifi speed... but pls why is the kids area in the MIDDLE FLOOR??? I'm all for encouraging kids to read but it sounds like they're doing everything but that.

::This was the first time coming to this place and I must say, I'm definitely coming back. The architecture is amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful, they smile as soon as you walk in. There are lots of computers that you can use, a range of books and free wifi. It tends to get loud when it's busy but you should definitely visit.

::Terrible library. Has won a bunch of design awards but clearly was designed by people that never use libraries. Open design means sound travels throughout and there are screaming kids (story time ...why??) that can be heard everywhere. No quiet places to study. Should Have a sound proof kids area or a quiet study room. Or a room with a door. Wasted my time coming here as was totally unproductive with the deafening noise. Never coming back again

::I have been coming here for quite a while now and always the same main problem: BLOODY NOISES!!! Kids area into a library?! Seriously? Every day, all day there are kids screaming and crying! And even worst: ADULTS! Phone calls, video calls, loud conversations... Is this a real library or just another hipster trendy place in the heart of Surry hills?!
