::I think I stayed here as a kid growing up 40 years ago. Stayed for a night recently and it was fabulous. Glamping, not camping.

::The sites are a good size although they do not reserve sites. So if you have a large group needing multiple sites you may be split up. Pool is good and the creek next door is great. Close to theme parks.

::Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park had my review removed from TripAdvisor, so posting elsewhere. I'm sure they will try the same here, and I'm not sure why I'm bothering, but if they think it is fine to charge a home doctor $7 to get in to help their patients, and delete any correspondence about that, then I'll keep trying. I suppose if they said they would stop doing that it would seem more appropriate than just having the reviews deleted. Review below. I am a home doctor who visits this park regularly to help people who otherwise don't have great access to medical care while they are on holiday. I recently asked if I could drive in to see a young girl with a urinary tract infection, but was denied (by an older lady at reception), saying I would have to pay $7 to drive in. I was directed to the car park out the very front, having to then walk through the entire park with all my equipment, on a very hot day. I was not able to take everything with me, and should I have required other equipment or medications I would have had to walk all the way back to my car to get it and then all the way back again. I'm not precious about a bit of a walk, but in 35 degree heat you really don't want to work up a massive sweat when you have 12 hours of your shift remaining, not to mention the delays to other people waiting. I understand that there might be rules in place, and I respect that, but this has never happened at any other the many holiday parks I have been to. I can't comment on the facilities in general, but if this is any reflection on the management and treatment that people might expect, it doesn't say much for this park. Surely the management would be happy to let us in as we are just there to help their guests. If this kept happening I'd probably just stop going to this place and perhaps people will have to share the news that if your kids get sick, the home doctors don't come to this particular park.

::Best place on the Gold Coast. I took my good friend here for the first time and she said it was magical. She went back the very next day to show another friend this beautiful place

::Great place to take the family and relax. There are strong currents here so be careful. Lots of shallows and sandbanks to laze around in and plenty of space so it's not crowded. Kids bridge jump here ! The Gold Coast Recreation Centre nearby is fantastic. Their facilities are very well maintained (particularly the basketball courts) and they cater to just about every sport you can think of !
