  Stands the test of quality over time, consistent quality, years later old favourites still taste just as I remembered. Excellent gourmet sandwiches, hearty winter warmers or fare for all season. Head and shoulders above even your 'upmarket' cafe or sandwich shop with a commanding menu to please any taste and for me, worth the 1hour round trip when time is available.

  Menu not as suggests! If i had wanted pre-packaged frozen goods I could have purchased them myself. I Expected higher quality, home-made (as suggested) savouries. The attitude from owner when I questioned the origin of the quiches was inappropriate, uncalled for and down right rude. I will never use "The Earl" again or recommend them to anyone else.
