::Air con was not helping my fever at all!! The old male doctor with white hair spent about 2 minutes with me, he told me yes you have tonsilitis and wrote me a script for something i was already using but it was half the strength and my appointment cost 60 dollars. There was no doctors certificate or any care for his patient. I went to the pharmacy around the corner got my script, they were very sure that i needed something else for my throat so the pain would stop i couldn't speak mind you but yet they wished me to get better. I'm disgusted in the care taken to my at Travellers Medical service.

::Fabulous experience at this clinic.Heaps of information to peruse before seeing the doctor and nurse. Our itinerary was complicated but they easily sorted out the necessary vaccinations and malaria medications required. They also gave us a great first aid kit for our extended trip to Africa, which had so many things it resembled a mini pharmacy and very reasonably priced as well. The other great feature was that we were able to source our 3rd rabies shots at one of their Travel Clinics in Melbourne, as we were going there to visit family before we left Australia. We have highly recommended them to all of our friends going with us!! Their location is also very convenient being right on the Brisbane City Mall.

::By far the worst medical experience i have ever had. I am almost certain the doctor that I met was either drunk or on some heavy sedatives as he was slurring his words and having trouble retaining balance. I was given about 30 seconds to tell him my ailments before he started writing a prescription and mumbling for me to leave. Upon getting to a pharmacy i spoke with a helpful pharmacist who told me to halve the dosing recommended by the doctor (antihistamine tablets 3 times a day) if i wanted to stay out of hospital. A local pharmacist was infinitely more helpful than the semi-conscious, incoherent and apathetic doctor I payed over $100 to deal with here. I can't believe this place hasn't been shut down already, unbelievably bad service. Also ended up having to go the hospital as the doctors hasty diagnosis was completely wrong.

::I was judged and didn't have my symptoms taken seriously by a doctor who subsequently asked me "if I reckon I should have a blood test". I wasn't too sure, but I could've sworn it was their job to decide that. I wonder how some of these people still retain medical degrees. And the poor professionalism doesn't stop there - anybody who reviews this place negatively gets blasted with information about how busy the practice is and how very lucky we all are to have attended it by the troll who haunts this page. My advice would be to concentrate on bettering your medical practice rather than abusing everybody who has a problem with it.
