::Stayed here for two nights. Newly renovated. Nice Samsung 55 inch TV's and great event locations. Nicdly situated in the bustling waterfront area.

::A modern and reasonably priced base to explore the city and enjoy the waterfront. We stayed during Cyclone Marcus and the Canadian (?) girl with short hair at reception was great. Confident, was able to have a joke but still strictly professional during a scary time. She has big things coming in this industry.

::My main gripe is with the food and service. Room service food was bland and massively overpriced for what was served up. When we went for and early breakfast there wasn't enough food for the people that were there, so we had to wait with others for the food to be restocked. Stayed during the off peak season so the room price was quite good. The room was clean and comfortable but the shower/bathtub set up was a bit awkward. Would only recommend this hotel if you are stuck without an alternative.

::The VIBE hotel is quite a good option for a stay on the Darwin waterfront, this hotel sits adjacent to the wave pool which would be perfect for a family. There are plenty of eateries in close proximity but they can be a bit pricey for a family vacation. The room I had overlooked the 6 level carpal but I was not disturbed during my stay. The room had a king size bed a microwave and a small bar fridge. I found this adequate for just me but it would also be fine for a couple. The opposite rooms overlook Darwin harbour and the cruise terminal, it's not exactly a pretty view as it also looks over industrial yards but these are some way off. The exhibition centre is just a short walk as is the centre of town and the old WW2 tunnels. On a negative, I didn't like the fact you had to pay for parking overnight. This said it's only $15 a night. Also there was heavy mould on the bathroom ceiling that may not be good with someone who has asthma, I came away with an annoying cough. All in all, I would recommend as a good midrange place to stay.

::It was a neat and tidy room in good condition. It had a nice view overlooking the gardens in the waterfront. Service staff were nice and polite. Check out times were late which meant we could sleep in. Easy access to nearby cafes and restaurants. Walking distance from the city.
