  The West End Veterinary Surgery is great! Meagan is insanely passionate about the wellbeing of our pets, both physically and mentally. She is friendly and very keen to share her knowledge with her patients. We happily travel from a few suburbs over to take our cat here.

  The staff are incredibly dedicated to your pets health, whilst also being incredibly affordable compared to Green Cross Vets. Megan the vet gives you a real peek behind the vail of where the ‘Big Pet and Vet’ companies tend to cut corners to increase their bottom line, and you always come out learning so much about your pet, or pets in general, than you would have before.

  I have two cats. The male has a fair amount of health issues. The breed is tricky so I am lucky to have found this clinic. Megan has been incridble from the start. It is amazing to have a vet who is so passionate about their job. She has always taken the time to ensure I understand my breed and how to keep them safe. She always fits Archie in when he has a sudden problem (which feels like every second week) even if she is flat out. She takes the time to translate the medical language so that I can understand what is happening with my fluff ball. The staff are friendly and professional. The prices are fantastic. I cannot sing their praises enough.

  The receptionist needs some serious customer service training. You are the first person of contact that people have when they are anxiously calling about their pets and rushing people and making them feel stupid does not help. It's a pity that people are steering away from this business because of the receptionists lack of patience and empathy, especially when there are positive reviews in regards to the vets. Too bad I won't get to experience this as that single phone call quickly had me searching for a different vet. A friendly demeanour can go a long way.

  Called in to enquiry about a type of insulin they use for diabetic cats. The receptionist put me through to Megan who spoke down to me and over me and I had to stop her in her monologue a couple of times to get a word in. She refused to answer my question trying to throw big words like it is illegal etc. She was making it sound like they were a big hospital and I needed a referral to get my pet treated there. When I probed, she said that I needed to make an appointment as they can treat my pet. There is no way I will use a vet that will treat me with such disrespect like I do not understand anything and she knows everything. She certainly was not trying to help a customer. It was all about $$$.
