  A great little zoo where you can get up close and personal with most of the animals you associate with Australia - wombats, Tasmanian devils, platypus, crocs, kangaroos and of course the koalas! There are also snakes, lizards and loads of other things to see. It's not a massive zoo (you could go round in an hour, but 1.5-2 hours is a better pace), but it's right in the heart of the city and if you're limited on time then it's perfect. Do the koala experience, it's an extra cost, but definitely worth it.

  The zoo is not big located in the city centre. There ain't many animals, but you do see those local animals. Koala and Wombat are adorable. The zoo ticket is not cheap, and the Koala encounter cost another 20~30 dollars. Still it's worth a visit for foreign visitors.

  Great place. very helpful and friendly staff. Honest and attentive. even though the while facility is smaller than other zoos, the quality of management is reflected through the experience and more than makes up for the room.

  Again one of the best places for kids to visit. We kind of had visited the place in the time of an afternoon and hence the animals were kind of taking rest. Not sure if that is the case entire day or there are some time when the animals are playing around. But overall, kids really enjoyed and they have taken care of all the safety measurements as well.
