  I took my son to David Jones to buy him formal clothes for his television debut. The greeter at the Children's clothing section was attentive and helpful. She referred us on to an Assistant who stuck with us through an hour of trying shoes, trousers, shirts, vests and jackets until we found what we needed. It was a great experience and I recommend DJs to everyone looking for Service with a capital S.

  Went in with my younger sister to have some trousers repaired at Sandro: ripped at the seams after one use! Plenty of their other clothes were also ripped on the hangers, which is a clear sign of poor quality and general care. Was served by Joy, Chloe and another blonde girl at the store, all of whom were very rude and intimidating to me and especially my young sister, who is barely eighteen. They should have some brand pride and take responsibility for their garment quality, but my sister was simply accused of her trousers being fake and horribly belittled. Receiving these trousers as a gift from a relative, there was no receipt, but it was obvious these were Sandro stock. Having worked in David Jones, I know the policy is to have excellent customer service and help in any way possible, even without proof of purchase. Even customer service said this, but Chloe continued to refuse to help us. I hope no one has the displeasure of going to this store. I personally, who have been a loyal Sandro customer for years, will never buy from this store again due to the horrible service. I hope David Jones takes action against this concession store, as it DOES NOT represent the excellent customer service and quality ethic of the David Jones brand.

  It's an old school department store with a good range of relatively expensive goods. The suit area is good for getting an idea of what's available on the market and what the sizing is even is you can get it cheaper else where. And make sure you check out the food court good grub.

  5 minutes into my shopping experience and I already missed Myer; service by several staff (for those willing to help) was pretty unpleasant. It seems they'd much rather chat and not have to converse with customers. Other than that, the selection for menswear looked fantastic; there was a wide range of clothing for both casual and smart attire.
