  I would not even suggest these guy, went in a few weeks ago had a look at a 2005 Jeep Cherokee for 6999 I mentioned to the guy that was on that I was expecting my insurance money from my previous car to be paid out and what I would need to do to buy this car. The guy said all I would need to do was leave a deposit. So I did. ($400) i then mentioned it to the guy doing my paper work and he said that would be fine. A few days went by and I rang my insurance company who then stated they were not going to pay me out, so I got straight on the phone to the car dealer and told them my sad news who then informed me that I must pay for the car. I hung up and never thought to much about it till today when I received a letter demanding another $648.85 or he would take me to court. I got straight into the phone and called the car dealer who told me to have to pay or go to court, I then ask him why he had resisted the car but now asking $7999 for it telling me it’s known of my business. Looks like this guy is trying to intimidate people into paying more then they have to, as it is Friday I will be calling consumer affairs on manday and reporting this matter.   Got sold a lemon. Was told the car drove beautifully and there were no issues at all with it. Took for a test drive. Asked why it seemed a little jumpy and he told me all automatics are like that (i drove a manual previously). Had nothing but issues with it. Turned out is was jumpy because the transmission control module was on its way out. The electrics have stuffed up and as I write this I am sitting on the side of the road waiting for assistance as my engine just blew. Rang them angry and their response "it was fine when we had it". Oh my god!!! Seriously!?!

  We bought a used Renault Scenic at the end of September 2017 and got it for a great price, it works well and we've had no issues since. The customer service was great and the staff were very professional and helpful. I'd recommend Independent Motors to anyone.

  This morning I received the worst service from Allan the owner of Independent Motors. Went in to collect my wages for the casual work I did there last Saturday morning. Allan shouted at me and asked me to leave the premises. He said he was waiting to sell a car so that he could pay me. (lol) Mind you the sum in question is $50!!!!! Absolutely freaking unbelievable!!!! I informed him that he had gone against our agreement and said I would sit outside and wait for the sale... at this point he begrudgingly wrote me a cash cheque. Needless to say, I will not be doing any casual work there ever again. If you are thinking of working there , BEWARE! A little respect for a fellow human being goes a long way Allan. With that kind of attitude, it is only a matter of time before you close down your yard....
