  Unique and different with the fact you get a nice goodies pack on arrival at your room. The fridge drinks in your room are free and you can go downstairs for free bottles of water and lollies as well as a happy hour. I was on the first floor and it was a little noisy during the night with the laneway. Management are working on making it quieter by replacing the windows with double glazed on levels 1 and I think 2

  We had a 4 night stay at the Ovolo. Nice modern hotel, the in room amenities were new and clean. The free mini bar (replenished daily) was fantastic. Our room was a one bedroom suite, it was smaller than I thought, but big enough for the 2 of us. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only real issue was the street noise, we were on the 2nd floor, and most nights there were trucks delivering things in the middle of the night, and then on the Sunday night the council ripped up part of the road at 3am. Not the Ovolo' s fault, but I wished we had a higher room or were at the back of the building. I'd recommend if you stay to ask for a room out the back of the building and higher up, booking directly so you can take advantage of the free breakfast and happy hour.

  Funky hotel, well appointed and in a great location near parliament/theatres. King bed was super comfortable, room was clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The renovated bathroom sink was a bit shallow - but manageable. An easy fix might be to shift the vanity shelf to the side. Highly recommended, will stay again.

  What a lovely surprise. Booked without expectation and found a hotel which had the right of hip to comfy. For young professionals this place is a must. Open mini bar is awesome. Beds and pillows great quality and the staff are very friendly and overall fantastic. Rooms are very clean and well kept. We had a two room and had three people staying and we loved it. We didn't eat the food in the hotel so i can't comment on that. But th lollies in reception were yummy. Well done to the owners.

  Convenient location, walking distance to city centre and restaurants, but far enough that it doesn't get too noisy with the traffic. Don't expect any views from the room windows, but the freebies in the room fridge and the candy bar at the reception are awesome! The toilet sink is a bit of a joke. Too narrow to be of much use. Other than that, the rest of the room is pretty clean, modern and comfortable for a short stay.
