  Great guys to deal with. I have never had a problem with using these guys. Whenever I come to Melbourne I rent through Rent for Less Melbourne and have never been let down. Their cars are always clean and available when I need it. Their airport pick up service has never let me down and they have always been very competitive with their pricing.

  Comment from Manager regarding last 2 reviews who were written by the same persons. These renters did have some confusion at time of collection and that was acknowledged by us. Occassionally things do not go according to plan, and these renters changed their pick up time from the original booking, also the person collecting the vehicle was not the renter. Five free rental days were offered immediately for this inconvenience that one person experienced, and a rate of $23 a day for a current model Ford Focus Auto. The renter was completely statisfied with this and the speed which our apology was delivered and he acknowledged this by email congratulating us on our customer service... At the end of the rental he debated the prices...we are not sure of their modus operandi but we have been offering a 24 hour airport collection and drop off car hire service for 7 years from this location. 99% of the time their are no problems. It goes to show even quick positive responses don't always have the best outcomes...

  I've hired many cars all across AU & several countries, this place is the worst by far! Booked a car, confirmed pick up time via email the week before. Arrived after a long flight to pick up car only to find it wasn't ready - then head office rudely accusing that we didn't advise them off pickup time.. however everything was there in email which and they acknowledged. Car we picked up was filthy, complete with used chip packets, empty drink bottles, dirt, etc. One particular guy in their office was condescending & rude. Whilst they may be marginally cheaper, the pain I went thru was not worth it. I would never use them again!

  Hired a car - but would never hire from them again. Poor service & too many issues. The people at the airport car pick up place (who aren't associated with Rent for Less) stated "people should never hire from them" after they saw the pickup issues we had (and who I suspect had seen these issues before). Wish I had of spoken to them before hand. Guys at head office on phone bad-mannered, got no where with them.
