::A warning to anyone considering Australia Post's ShopMate US parcel-forwarding service: check their accepted parcel sizes. My parcel was too large, so they charged me $70 to send it to another address IN THE US. The MyUS service sent it to me IN AUSTRALIA for $59. I have no affiliation with MyUS, this is just my experience. My very disappointing experience.

::In and out in less than 5 mins. Friendly staff. Open after 5pm. A lot of post offices could learn from this place.

::The staff here are literal trash. Not one of them deserves their job. They treat people with no respect, laugh when dropping delicate packages and have a general incompetence in being productive at all. Avoid it like the plague!

::I was at the Bourke street Post office on Saturday 03/04/2018 and was trying to pay some bills on the self serve teller machine when half way through my transaction the machine froze and went into error. I am sorry Australia post but your help line is not very good and they were not able to help me at all. They could not even re assure me that the $102 dollars that was in the machine would be accounted for and even if the machine spat it out when we left I would still be noted as having paid this amount. It was at this stage when I was reaching my limits of frustration when my wife found an employee by the name of Lyden (I Hope that i have spelt that correctly) He weas working in the parcel section and was not even trained in the use of the machine. This all took place at about 1 in the afternoon. This man who is an example of not just a valuable employee is also an example of a great person. He went beyond his working hours and into his own time and did not rest until our issue was sorted. This took about an hour of his own time due to having to be instructed via the phone on what to do. He managed to get me my $102 dollars back. And even though at times i could sense the frustration due to the person on the other end of the phone, Lynden was polite and professional at all times. Thank you Lynden you are a life saver and a true hero. Yours gratefully DINCH. K :)
