::They sell quite a few brands here. I did buy my daughter a Specialized mountain bike at a reasonable price. Was not able to get such a reasonable price when I came back later looking for an upgrade to my commuter, so I had to head out to the other side of Sydney to seal the deal. Most of the time, you get to come in for a browse and the staff are good about you having a look/see. Not sure they have the same sales promos as Specialized (Specialized Australia website had Sworks 6 XC shoes on sale, but the sales guy wasn't aware of it and said it was full rrp price). If you want your Specialized bike serviced by a Specialized dealer in the Sydney CBD, then this shop is the one to attend (they are the only one in the CBD). If you are happy for your bike to be serviced by another dealer, then you probably should consider your options carefully and thoughtfully (it won't be cheap). Mine cost me a bit more than I was led to believe :) But hey, this is the CBD, so many people working here have lots of money to spend. If you're on a budget, then this shop probably isn't for you. I think this might be part and parcel of the Specialized brand. Maybe check out your local if you can.

::Unfortunately I can't recommend Jet. They obviously have some knowledgable staff and quality gear, but they are expensive. I had to take my bike back 4 times and they still didn't repair the minor problem I had with the seatpost clamp. At times I got the impression they thought I was making it up. I did get a store credit as compensation so they were somewhat reasonable about the expense. You won't get a return call if you leave a message or send an email, you just have to keep calling until you get someone.

::Went in with a clear idea on the type of road bike I was looking for and the budget I had. I was willing to buy a bike on the spot. A smug look from one guy behind the counter and 3 minutes later without any body making the slightest attempt to talk to me made me walk out. Not that they were busy, I was the only customer in the shop.

::Had a great experience, speak to David if you need any assistance on anything cycling. Upstairs are all the toad bikes. Quite a good collection of bikes not just specialised as the front sign shows. Also great range of gels and bars to fuel your next ride. Will be coming back.!!!!
