::Peter renovated my parent's kitchen in 2013 and although this is five years after the process, it's actually also a review on how the kitchen has held up over this period. How is the service? Peter is a great bloke, really polite, dedicated, listens to everything you say and then provides his advice on what he thinks should be done to give you a nice looking, practical and cost effective kitchen. He is the type of person who will tell you to reconsider spending big dollars on things that make the kitchen look a little better but may be impractical or may not be valued by you in the long run. Peter was also happy for us to get our own appliances and for him to fit them and he even took our rangehood back to his workshop to build a box around it, making sure it was tightly fitted into the cabinets. He also didn't mind that we wanted to save some money by doing our own tiling of the splashback. Peter was also able to meet the time-frame as he promised and there were no delays or excuses or calls that went unanswered. How was the quality? The quality of the build was great. One of the existing house walls that a cabinet connected to was not straight but Peter managed to adjust the cabinets to make the whole section seamless. He was also able to play with the cornice and skirting to ensure that the issue with the wall doesn't show up. How is it after five year? Still looking like how it was five years ago. How was the price? Peter's quotes were much better than other well-known places around Canberra. It's not easy to find good people even if you're willing to pay a lot but it's incredibly hard to find someone good who also charges reasonably. Would we use Peter again? Definitely, and I'm actually considering how I can engage him again in my new build and hopefully whoever I build with will allow me to use Peter.
