  It's 3am and my wife is suffering from food poisoning. Tonight's meal is the only thing she ate today. Arrrggghh!

  We tried Modern China on a Scoopon voucher for ourselves and our daughters about three years ago. The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was lovely so we decided that we would definitely go there again even at full price. When we returned the staff remembered us and were very friendly and accommodating. The food again was delicious. You know sometimes you go to a restaurant and the food tastes great and then you go there again and again and it's just OK? Well not at this one we have since eaten and taken away from there about a dozen times in the last 2 years and EVERYTIME has been the same great quality. Modern China has now become the place we go to for our monthly family dinner night. One thing we will tell you though is if you get take away salt and pepper squid, take the top off of the container for the trip home so it doesn't get soggy. 8) Well done everyone.

  Had a great banquet meal here. Staff were friendly and attentive. I recommend a meal here.
