  Beautiful, minimalist studio, but you don't need to bring anything except yourself. Insightful, coherent instruction. The teacher, Trudy, calls you by name and observes your practice from the very first lesson – not to limit you, but to see where she can take you. Her knowledge of the body in movement is extensive. Even with her back turned, she knows how and when to guide individual students into alignment and beyond. The sequencing and cues are rhythmic, familiar – which is great if you are a beginner – but each class moves towards a different peak, and she will offer variations to those who are ready that day. She also focuses on the pathways into and out of each asana – and how to follow them with the whole bodymind. Great place, great yoga.
