::I had a really positive experience with this company. got upgraded to a larger car. was able to drop back at the airport rather than the city and it was a ridiculously cheap deal. it was also no problem extending for a further day. i have no concerns with the security deposit. was informed it will be returned within 7 days. no dramas. highly recommend this car rental company.

::Un trustworthy holding onto my $750 deposit with no indication of when it will be returned. Blaming bank for holding on to money for upto 30 days. Money should be refunded with in 24hours for any merchant. These guys are sly operators don't trust. Booked these twits on webjet will let them know of their shady procedures.

::We just rented with Ace Rental Cars from Cairns in May 2015 and we were very happy. The Manager, Adam was phenomenal and really gave us great tips for our stay in the area. The car was a small Hyundai Getz but it got us through our 5 day rental including 2 days of long road trips to Cape Tribulation and through the Atherton tablelands with no problems. There were crazy switchback roads for a lot of the drives and the car handled the turns fine keeping up with other cars. This could also be due to my husbands' fearless driving skills. I think we spent $80 on gas (2 full tanks) but we did a ton of driving so we were very pleased with the fuel efficiency. For the price it did give us the same views for less. And yes they put a hold for $3000 on our credit card if we didn't take the insurance but that seemed reasonable considering they are a smaller company and are charging way less than the alternative companies.

::Do not use these guys. They say $25 a day but they hit you with insurance that you HAVE to purchase otherwise they will need access to $3000 direct from your account. Crooked as hell
