  Cannot give zero stars. Very poor customer service. Renaged on a deal that was made over the phone, (listen to your call centre recordings) Tried to charge extra. Other travellers picking up cars seemed to be getting hit with similar hidden charges. Was told by the desk staff (left ear missing, who is mentioned in another bad review) that it was my own fault and they would not take any responsibility, even though it was confirmed over the phone by one of their staff. I don't have a problem with how anybody makes a living, as long as it is an honest one.

  A little slow to check in and get the car, it must have been peak hour. The car was great though, clean, new, no problems at all. Dropping car off was a breeze - really quick and painless! Would definitely use East Coast again

  These guys offer a great service, fair price, well maintained vehicles, simple policies, relaxed attitude, clear advice, awesome shuttle service to the airport AND they are affiliated with SIXT, one of the world's largest rental car companies... I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, the other branded companies are pricing themselves out of the market in my mind. East Coast Rentals was doing a raging business when I was there, super busy! **As with EVERY car rental company, always use common your own common sense and inspect the vehicle thoroughly prior to driving off; document/photograph all existing cosmetic damage (just to be safe)**

  Really good experience when there were very few rental cars available in the Cairns area over Easter. Easy pick up from the airport friendly staff, clean safe tidy car. Will defiantly use again!

  Great experience. Needed a car that I could pick up exactly at 8 am and drop off either late at night or by 7 am the next day. They were the only one I found that could do this. Everything was quick and easy and they even gave me a ride to the reef fleet terminal at 715 am so I could make my boat at 730. I even showed up before 7 to drop off the car and they were ready for me to drop it off. The price was reasonable, the car was fine, and the staff was friendly and made everything as easy as possible. I definitely recommend them.
